PERFORMANCE training

While athletes evolve and goals change, one thing remains constant- the demand for continual progress. The Soma Therapy approach can help athletes improve and push beyond their known limits.

Rex Butler works with athletes at any point in their career to develop personalized programs and plans. From high-school tryouts, professional championships, and retirement- Rex focuses on ensuring a thoughtful treatment plan that directly correlates with your current goals. The trajectory of an athlete’s life will change over the years- during the peak competitive years the goal is to unlock the client’s full potential and mental capacity. When the time comes to adjust to retirement, the focus may be more on rehabilitation or another new goal.

Whether you have a new passion for sport or need a health and wellness plan for the body to regenerate from years of abuse in sport, Rex will guide you through these specific treatments to reach your goals now and as they grow and change.

EXERCISE REHAB-SEGMENTAL REINFORCMENT- INTEGRATE- GLOBALITY

Segmental Reinforcement | Integration | Globality

Exercise Rehabilitation is an important part of recovering from injury, post-surgery treatment, and staying injury-free. Rex uses cutting-edge, results-based techniques to encourage the body to self-heal. This is in the form of a three-pronged approach broken down into several phases:

Phase 1- Segmental Reinforcement: The rehab portion of treatment mainly consists of a segmental approach to reinforce specific tissues or muscle fibers to normalize the structural orthopedics of the body.

Phase 2- Integration: The next phase is an integration phase which helps the brain reconnect with the body and enhance neuromuscular coordination.

Phase 3- Globality: Finally, the global phase of treatment prepares the body for regular activity and/or sport activities. This global program can also evolve into a program aimed at meeting specific physical goals and unlocking performance potential.

Rex will individually assess you with the aim of first rehabilitating the area of concern and gradually integrating accompanying treatments that extend to the globality of how the body functions.
