Rex Butler

Soma Trainer / Soma Trainer

Rex develops specifically tailored health programs for clients that promote self-healing through a comprehensive combination of:

·       Nutrition

·       Detox and Therapeutic Fasting

·       Orthopedic Exercise Rehabilitation, and

·       Performance Training

Having worked alongside world-renowned specialists in these fields, Rex uses his vast knowledge to create specialized programs for each client. These plans combine the most meaningful and effective treatments shown to lead to the best clinical results.

His approach stems from the growing field of Soma therapy focused on identifying the underlying cause of an ailment and from there selecting a treatment plan that targets the causality rather than just the trailing symptoms. Rex teaches clients the tools that can help them to become their own therapist and believes that everyone deserves the happiness that comes with good health.

Rex’s background as an elite athlete gives him a unique understanding of athletic performance, achievement, and leadership. He dedicated over 13 years to his athletic career and knows what it takes to compete with the best. He was an All-American at the University of Southern California where he graduated with a degree in Science of Human Performance. During his time at USC, his team won four consecutive NCAA Championships and Rex was selected to be Team Captain his final year. He remains in the top 25 all-time leading scorers for the Trojans.

Rex remains on the forefront of innovations and advancements in the fields of human performance and nutrition. Following his undergraduate study, he went on to the C.H.E.K Institute and obtained his certification as a C.H.E.K. Exercise Coach as well as a Level 3 Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach. Currently, Rex is pursuing an advanced degree under his mentor, Guy Voyer D.O. at an Osteopathic Medical Program at the Academie Sutherland d’ Osteopathie du Quebec to earn a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Medicine.
